Terms of service
These terms govern your access to Mergelay. The Mergelay operator identified during checkout or on an applicable order form is referred to below as “Mergelay”, “we” or “us”.
EffectiveYour account
You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials secure and promptly tell us about unauthorized access. If you use Mergelay for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to a workspace.
Repository and destination authority
Only connect repositories, workspaces, recipients and publication destinations you are authorized to operate. You control which repositories Mergelay may access, which destinations receive an Update and which revision is approved for publication.
Generated content and human review
Analyses and drafts may be incomplete or wrong. Mergelay is an editorial aid, not an autonomous source of truth or professional advice. You must review the linked evidence, recipients and exact revision before approval. You remain responsible for content your workspace approves or publishes.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Mergelay is a paid service with no permanent free plan or free trial. Developer is $9 per workspace each month or $90 each year, and Team is $39 per workspace each month or $390 each year, plus applicable taxes. Your checkout or order form confirms the selected plan, billing interval and renewal date before payment. Subscriptions renew for the same interval until cancelled. You may cancel before renewal; access continues through the paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where the checkout, an order form or applicable law says otherwise.
Acceptable use
Do not use Mergelay to break the law, infringe rights, distribute harmful material, expose secrets or personal data to an unintended audience, probe or disrupt the service, bypass limits or access controls, or help another person do any of those things.
Your content and connected services
You retain your rights in repository data, drafts and published content. You grant us the limited permission required to process that content and operate Mergelay. GitHub, model providers and publication destinations remain governed by their own terms. You may disconnect an integration at any time, but that does not retract content already published to a third-party service.
Service changes and availability
We may improve, replace or discontinue features and may temporarily limit service to protect users, connected systems or Mergelay. A feature still in active development is not part of a paid plan unless checkout or an order form explicitly includes it. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security risk or unlawful use. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. On termination, payment obligations already incurred and provisions that must reasonably survive will continue to apply.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mergelay is provided “as is” and implied warranties are excluded. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability for the service is limited to the amount you paid Mergelay in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
Governing terms and contact
An order form may add terms for a specific customer and controls if it conflicts with these terms. Governing law and venue are those identified at checkout or on that order form, subject to mandatory local rights. Questions, cancellation help and deletion requests can be sent to hello@mergelay.com.
